Moscow ?

Moscow It is the city which one comes face to face with all the finest and all that is most frustrating in Russia.More than anywhere else in the country, it is in Moscow where the Soviet past collides with the capitalist future. The emergence of new Moscow's much-publicized embrace of Western culture but its self-assured revival of its own traditions. Ancient cathedrals are being restored and opened for religious services, arts and traditional markets are coming back to life, Moscow is assuming its position as the capital and mother city of ancient state of Russia.

What is the most liked place for you at Moscow and why?

It's hard to choose only one most liked place. But I'd name MSU, and Vorobievy gory. That's the place where I feel good because:
1. I adore MSU I graduated from
2. There's a nice park around it
3. There's a beautiful view from viewpoint where you can see all Moscow below you.
4. It's far from subway stations, big roads, there are some nice quiet places here.

I'm afraid it doesn't have a name. Or we are speaking about two different ones. There are a lot of nice parks around that place....

I love to walk around the centre, Red Square, the Garden Ring, Chisty Prudy, Patriach's Pond, especially in the summer. Also I love the parks like Kolomenskoe and Tsaritsino. There is nothing better than sitting in a park cafe on a hot day, eating shashlik and drinking cold beer, mmmm!
