Is export of russian cars working? Where you saw these masterpieces of car-builders? ;-)
For example, I know that Cuba has a lot of russian cars, but it's because in soviet time Cuba and USSR had good relationships.

No Russian car has been imported in Britain for over 20 years.
The first Russian cars imported in Britain were originally the Moskvitch, but not in great quantity.
Later on, the Lada was relatively a popular years ago as cheap, 'no frill' budget cars, but the import stopped because of a trade dispute between the British importer and AutoExport which handled the foreign sales in the SU.
That was at the time when the Koreans started to export cars, and they replaced the Russians on the market in Britain.
